What is From Said to Done?
From Said to Done (Del Dicho al Hecho) measures how far the government of Chile's President Gabriel Boric advanced in fulfilling the legislative promises of his government program. It is a study that measures the fulfillment of the legislative promises set by the government in its presidential program and accountability discourse. This edition of the study measured the second year of his term (2022-2024).
This report seeks to give information that empowers citizens in the exercise of their right to demand the fulfillment of the promises made by the representatives, strengthening their capacity for control and management control.
The website features an interactive graph tracking the progress on several of the government's promises. For example, on Agriculture, the government made 34% progress, on Sport 43%, on Social Development 25%, while on Democracy, Defense, and Culture, there is no progress.
